Building Your Own Website: Developmental Stages
Whether you are using WYSIWYG web builder templates, creating your own code, or paying someone else to design your website it is important to approach all stages of the design process in an orderly manner. Things that seem unnecessary will often prove to be things that you should have done in the first place. (Using my very first web page as an example, I ended up having to revamp the navigation multiple times because I underestimated how many pages I needed. And this was only for a simple television show fansite.) An important thing to bear in mind is that some of these stages are interchangeable.
